Becoming a member of the association is:

Support an innovative educational project focused on creativity and “doing things together”,
Engage in an eco-responsible approach by enhancing sustainable, bio-based construction and reuse materials,
Contribute to the evolution of wine tourism by projecting into the future landscapes of Champagne and by inventing new uses for tourists and locals,
Be invited during the workshop to different events that will take place in Châlons-en-Champagne (ex: inaugurations, conferences, master class),
Participate in events organized in the vineyard lodges throughout the year,
Be part of a community committed to promoting architecture and responsible tourism.

Architecture en Champagne is a non-profit 1901 association founded in 2024 on the initiative of:

The Agglomeration of Châlons-en-Champagne,
The House of Architecture of Champagne-Ardenne (MACA),
The Comité Interprofessionnel de Vins de Champagne (CIVC),
The École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nancy (ENSA Nancy)
The Mission: Hillsides, Houses and Cellars of Champagne,
The Grand-Est Region,
The Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs of the Grand-Est,
The Agence de Développement touristique de la Marne.

The association aims to encourage the creation, teaching, research and dissemination of architecture in Champagne. It contributes to the advancement of the Champagne territory on the notion of architecture, especially with regard to the preservation of the Coteaux, Maisons and Caves de Champagne inscribed on the World Heritage List since 2015.

To this end, the association organizes every year a workshop of about twelve days, bringing together students and young people active in architecture, design and engineering, supervised by teachers, with the aim of building contemporary vineyard lodges and their implantation in the Champagne landscape.
