VOILES ET VIGNES

The lodge Voiles et Vignes is located in Verzenay, below the lighthouse, somewhere in the middle of the vines.

Set on two levels, it invites tourists and walkers to take the time to admire the landscape over a glass of champagne. From the bow, the view of the lighthouse offers an opportunity to admire the hilly landscape and what will be called the "sea of vines". The desire to align with the vines is intentional, and allows us to find our feet on the water, enjoying the next cuvée of our winemaker "A bottle at the sea".

From this platform, let’s direct our eyes in the back, towards the boudoir space of the lodge: the road and railway axes disappear under the roof that comes to frame the landscape, and directs the gaze on the plant and the human.

Let yourself be tempted by the two benches facing each other, to appreciate your environment! These foundations are structural and are entirely part of the structure of the structure, acting as a bracing. These are two important elements, where the wood for re-use comes directly from an old farm belonging to Adam Méreaux, the owners of this work.

Like these benches, the railing, grape crates and roof decking blades are also from reuse, and were provided by the champagne house.

Hikers, take the time to leave the land and take the open sea in this perennial structure, which arouses the curiosity of all. It is a place of sharing and learning, which benefits everyone, both in work and rest. We hope you all enjoy it, and that you will give it the best of welcomes.
