LE LIT DE VIGNES

Jean-Philippe and Corinne Menu run a bed and breakfast in Changy in Champagne. With his “Landrovigne” Landrover, Jean-Philippe presents his winery by offering a tourist and cultural activity all about grapes. For a long time, he has dreamt of installing a lodge on this site overlooking the Changy countryside and the surrounding vines, which would reflect his and Corinne’s personalities and would offer tourists a unique moment of relaxation.
The project put forth by Architecture en Champagne seems obvious: a bed nestled in the slope, protected by the vines, where one can enjoy Champagne below a star-studded sky.

The desks serve as openwork wall sections and are articulated to create pierced windows and thus permit the visitor to appreciate the visible areas of sky.
